About me
yoga teacher / retreat organizer
Marta Ariza is from Barcelona and with a filmmaking background, her first contact with yoga was after meeting the yogi
Jivan Vismay at a young age. It is at the age of 30 that she feels the need of transferring her knowledge about this ancient practise
to people, from the different schools she is been learning from.
She sees yoga as a lifestyle and her aim is to show how it can be apply to our daily lifes. The individualistic life of the capitalistic
world tends to prioritize personal gain, competition, and material success, often leading to isolation and stress. In contrast, the community-based life of yoga philosophy emphasizes interconnectedness, collaboration, and inner fulfillment, creating a supportive environment
that nurtures both individuals and the community.

her approcah to yoga
Combines different disciplines and methods she has been inspired from.
Through cleansing practices that incorporate breathwork, asana, and mindful movement,
along with organizing retreats that reconnect individuals with nature through climbing
and mountain experiences. She believes these elements form the foundation
for a transformative journey that fosters a simpler, more compassionate, and
caring approach to oneself and the world. Climbing has empowered her to
overcome fears, appreciating the simplicity of life, and cultivating a deep respect
and understanding for the natural world, recognizing that our well-being
is intricately linked to the health of our environment.
